Electric Boat D475 seeks a self-motivated, team player to join its team. This position is for a P/C Techaid for an IT department. This position requires strong organization skills, verbal and written communication and IT skills as well as a demonstrated ability to interact with a wide range of personnel. Job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support for a department of 35
  • Department on-board coordinator
  • Track and manage department assets including computer and phone billing
  • Submit department requests including PEWOs, trouble tickets, IT Service Requests, visit requests, travel documents, Staples orders, etc.
  • Scribe and publish meeting minutes; develop and track action items
  • Develop agendas for meetings
  • Maintain department emergency contact lists
  • Maintain EB directory for department personnel
  • Maintain Outlook calendar and email for department manager
  • Maintain department floor plan
  • Design/create/maintain forms using Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Gather and post department metrics
  • Coordinate department training schedule, internal and external
  • Maintain operation center displays to facilitate monitoring issues/outages
  • Track status for department documentation including MDDs, MDPs and internal documentation to meet government requirements for annual review and notify management of outstanding tasks
  • Reviewing Power BI reports for monitoring overhead

A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required to be successful in this role.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of relevant administrative experience supporting a technical / IT department.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • This role is 100% on site and does not have an option for regular remote work
  • Must be able to obtain a final DoD Secret clearance

Preferred

  • Active final DoD Secret clearance
  • College Degree
  • Experience managing email and calendar for other(s)
  • Experience scribing and publishing meeting minutes
  • Relevant experience in an IT organization
  • Working experience with Microsoft Visio
  • Experience generating and maintaining digital forms, preferably with Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Working experience with Power BI
