Primus Family Law Group is seeking a Family Law Paralegal to add to our busy boutique firm:

We need a paralegal who's equal parts organizational wizard, legal superstar, and unflappable human being. This is not just a job – it's a chance to help our clients through some of the toughest times in their lives while keeping our attorneys in line (seriously, they need it).

Your Superpowers Should Include:

• Proactive Planning : You know what needs to be done before anyone tells you or you know something needs to be done and are willing to ask questions.
• Document Expertise : Drafting, proofreading, and organizing legal documents with precision and care.
• Multitasking Mastery : You can answer a client call, file a motion, and remind an attorney of a deadline all while maintaining your composure.
• Legal Research : Finding the right information at the right time to support our cases.
• Diplomacy : You can navigate delicate client situations with empathy and tact.
• Stress Resistance : You remain calm during last-minute emergencies and thrive under pressure.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Drafting and preparing legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with attention to detail.
• Managing case files and deadlines like a pro because organization is essential.
• Communicating with clients who need guidance, support, and sometimes just someone to listen.
• Coordinating with attorneys who will swear they don't need help (they do).
• Keeping the office running smoothly, with a coffee cup in one hand and a to-do list in the other.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of family law experience.
• A deep understanding of family law procedures and terminology.
• Tech-savvy – Microsoft Office, legal software.
• A sense of humor (mandatory – we've tried hiring without it, and it didn't work).

Bonus Points For:

• Experience dealing with high-conflict personalities (and we don't just mean the clients).
• The ability to organize a filing cabinet with your eyes closed.
• A love of color-coded spreadsheets.
