Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumbing Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion in a multi-family setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of multi-family plumbing processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and are code compliant. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing onsite materials, development of the project and continuous communication between the general contractor and sub-contracted plumbing crews.

Duties

• Oversee daily plumbing operations on multiple construction sites, using strong time management to ensure adherence to each projects schedule.

• Work with project manager to coordinate and schedule materials, man power and machinery in a proactive manor.

• Able to read architectural, structural and plumbing plans.

• Oversee quality control of the crews and progression of their work to ensure code compliance, accuracy of work and meeting all scheduled deadlines.

• Walk with plumbing and building inspectors.

• Supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.

• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, change orders, and incident reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi-Family Plumbing Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry for a minimum of five years.

• Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and contract management.

• Moderate computer skills are required to access email, Procore, Builder Trend and other similar construction platforms.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings related to construction projects.

• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be efficient with time management and prioritizing tasks.
