Role Overview


Sodexo is seeking an experience Executive Chef for the Wayland Academy in Beaver Dam, WI. Our leader will be responsible for creating daily innovative options for our private high school students. Our Executive Chef 2 will manage full programs to include daily dining, catering and working with our clients for top satisfaction. Our Budgeted salary is on the highest end of the posted range. Our leader will be focused on Food Cost, Quality and Variety for our customers and will be highly invested in the school and the close knit community.

  • Develop and maintain client and customer relationships

  • Have oversight of day-to-day operations

  • Culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Strong work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service

Qualifications & Requirements


Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
