Barton Creek Fitting Studio is an exceptional, brand-agnostic custom golf club fitting experience that takes place outdoors on a beautiful grass range at Barton Creek Country Club / Omni Barton Creek Resort.

The studio is committed to helping each golfer find the optimal set of clubs for performance and improvement. The studio’s professionals have years of experience working with new golfers, high school and college golf athletes, golf enthusiasts of all handicaps, and professional golfers.

Barton Creek Fitting Studio has been recognized and awarded an array of service and fitting awards including Golf Digest Top 100 Fitter, Ping Top 100 Club Fitter, Mizuno Top Fitter and Callaway Top 100 Fitter.

Job Description

On behalf of our client, Barton Creek Fitting Studio, we are looking for experienced club fitting professionals to join its talented team. The ideal candidate will have great customer skills, a passion for the game of golf, a successful track record of custom club fitting or golf instruction, and a strong interest in golf equipment and the golf industry.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with golfers throughout the day, assessing swing characteristics and working through a process to select new clubs, shafts, grips, etc.
  • Share product knowledge with customers while making personal recommendations based on talent, skill level, and swing data
  • Ensure each customer receives exceptional service by finding the right products and providing creative solutions - resulting in noticeable performance gains
  • Help with daily tasks including club building, order management, interaction with manufacturer reps, and servicing customers when not in an appointment
  • Perform golf club fittings and related assignments for a wide range of players including high handicap customers, better playing amateurs, VIP guests, and tour players

Required Experience/Skills

  • 21+ years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of club fitting experience
  • Engaging personality and great customer-facing skills
  • Computer literacy and general aptitude for learning new software or web-based applications
  • Ability to multitask, handle varying daily priorities, and work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to be thorough and accurate
  • High energy level and upbeat personality
  • Drive to continuously learn and develop
  • Work 40-45 hours per week outside, including a mix of week days and weekend days

Pay & Benefits Summary

Pay will be commensurate with experience and will include a base salary and bonus tied to key customer service and operating metrics. There is a full, competitive benefits plan for full time fitters.
